The Medical
Assistant is trained to work with and under direction of a physician in clinical and administrative aspects of
the physician's office or in other medical settings.
The Phlebotomist
is an integral member of the medical laboratory team whose primary function is the collection of blood samples
from patients by venipuncture or micro-techniques. The phlebotomist facilitates the collection and transportation of laboratory
specimens and is often the patients only contact with the medical laboratory.
The Nurse
Aide will acquire and demonstrate a variety of nursing skills such as taking vital signs, communicating with patients
and other healthcare team members, and assisting patients with activities of daily living. This team member is a vital part
of the health care team.
The Medical Billing and Coding Specialist will perform accurate handling of documentation,
storaging and retrieving of the patient's medical data, billing insurance companies and receiving proper reimbursements on
claims.
